Be sure and pick up the new album by new artist Moriah Peters – out today!
I’m excited about this record. The album is full of great songs and the first single “I Choose Jesus” has been extremely well received charting on the Billboard top 25 Christian Songs.
No doubt Moriah has a bright future and this album is just the beginning…

The beginning of the year saw Sanctus Real’s album “Pieces of a Real Heart” up for “Best Contemporary/Pop Gospel Album” at the GRAMMY Awards!
The album was produced by Chris Stevens and includes the chart-topping singles “Forgiven” and “Lead Me”.
It WON the 2011 Dove Awards for Song of the Year (“Lead Me”), Pop/Contemporary Recorded Song of the Year (“Lead Me”), and Rock/Contemporary Album of the Year (“Pieces of a Real Heart”).
This is one great album and I hope you all got a chance to hear it.
2011 brought fantastic new music by Aaron Shust (the Ed Cash-produced, chart-topping “This is What We Believe”), Robbie Seay Band (the amazing new “Rich & Poor”), Derek Webb (the inspired instrumental “Feedback”), Jonny Diaz (self-titled), Group 1 Crew, Christy Nockels & Passion, Shane & Shane (“The One You Need”), Vineyard Music, Jeremy Riddle, Luminate, Samestate, Jeremy Lister, Ty Mayfield, Sleeperstar, Sarah Hart (the beautiful Christmas record “This Winter’s Eve”), Billy the Kid, Andrew Belle, Breakaway, Aaron Ivey & Austin Stone, John Waller, Ben Shive (the brilliant “The Cymbal Crashing Clouds”), new tracks by Amy Grant, a new live EP by Andrew Peterson, and over 100 new projects by amazingly talented independent artists – some of my personal favorites of the year.
Sleeperstar had one of their songs – “Everything Must Find It’s Place” – selected for the trailer to the new movie “Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close” starring Sandra Bullock and Tom Hanks.
New Gotee Records artist Jamie Grace had her fantastic debut (and chart-topping!) release “One Song at a Time” mastered here featuring a Grammy-nominated title track.
And keep an eye out for an upcoming 2012 Provident Music release by great new artist, Moriah Peters!
Be sure and check out all of these projects if you haven’t already and here’s to great 2012 – it’s already booked with some great new music!
Happy New Year everyone.

What’s the downside to having an extremely busy mastering room? Well in this case, a website that hadn’t seen any significant updates in quite a while.
The old ambientdigital.com wasn’t just outdated. It was, well… broken. Full of old code and I’m pretty sure it actually had a layer of dust on it. And while we’ll all miss the sound effects in the old Flash animation, it was time for an update.
Happily, the new site is LIVE!
Please feel free to look around and let me know if you have any questions! I made the focus of this new site blog-based so I can keep everyone up-to-date on what I’m working on and let people know when exciting new projects are being released by artists I work with.
Hope you’ll check back often!
